Pugh helps Cherries go through

Bournemouth looked to be cruising to an easy win after scoring three times in 15 first-half minutes, but Yeovil hit back twice after the break and set up a frantic finish, hitting the woodwork in stoppage time.
Bournemouth’s trio came in the space of a 15-minute purple patch, with veteran Steve Fletcher instrumental in Pugh’s first two goals.
He won an aerial duel to set up the first and created chaos between goalkeeper Jed Steer and defender Kerrea Gilbert to gift Pugh a second.
Pugh turned creator for Bournemouth’s third on the half-hour. Bondz N’Gala bundled his corner into his own net.
Yeovil rallied after the break, with substitute Steve Maclean reducing the arrears with a cross shot and Max Ehmer setting up a grandstand finish with a second goal two minutes from the end of normal time. Maclean hit the Bournemouth crossbar in stoppage time. H
