West Brom head coach Tony Pulis has been fined £8,000 by the Football Association after admitting a charge of improper conduct.

Pulis was charged after Saturday’s game against Leicester with “using language and/or behaviour in or around the tunnel area after the fixture which amounts to improper conduct”.

He was given until 6pm on Thursday to respond to the charge and has opted not to contest it.

A short statement on the FA website read: “West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis has been fined £8,000 after he admitted a breach of FA rules in relation to a misconduct charge.”
