Super agent Mino Raiola has hit back at accusations from the press that he will pocket almost £40million from the Paul Pogba deal.

The £89 million deal which saw Pogba become the world’s most expensive player is under FIFA investigation.

The governing body are reportedly concerned about potential third party ownership involved Raiola, a practice which is banned in English football.

A book called ‘Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football’ claimed that he had pocketed over £22million from the Pogba deal and was in line for a further £16million across five instalments.

Raiola told Radio Deejay in Italy: “I cashed £40m? It’s fake.

“95% of Football Leaks’ [information] about me is fake news.

“I won’t answer to mafia journalism.”
