Aaron Ramsey says that he is “ready” to face Liverpool, and hopes to continue his excellent international form with Arsenal.
Ramsey starred at Euro 2016 for Wales, and was the key individual behind their unlikely journey to the semi-finals in France.
The midfielder was suspended for the game against Portugal however, with his absence sorely felt as Chris Coleman’s side were finally knocked out.
He now hopes to carry that positive form into the upcoming season with Arsenal, after an indifferent campaign last time out.
“It was an amazing time for me personally and also Welsh football,” he told the club’s website.
“It was an amazing achievement by the boys and now hopefully I can carry my form into the new season.
“It felt good to come in and play the last game before the start of the season.
“It’s good fitness for us and I felt good to get back out there again. I feel ready to go for Liverpool.”
