Alberto Moreno could extract himself from the arms of Jurgen Klopp in January if Spanish newspaper Marca are to be believed.
Moreno is said to be Madrid’s first choice ahead of Wolfsburg’s Ricardo Rodriguez because of his La Liga experience.
Madrid are apparently looking for back-up for Marcelo, who played only 59 minutes of their last three matches due to injury; Real conceded 10 goals in those three games.
Liverpool are unlikely to allow Moreno to leave without a fight. He has become undisputed first-choice left-back since the arrival of Jurgen Klopp.
It now seems inconceivable that Brendan Rodgers preferred to play a teenage Joe Gomez out of position at the start of the season.
