‘Resentment’ at Man United over Jose Xmas plans

There is reported ‘resentment’ amongst Manchester United staff over Jose Mourinho’s plans to make them work Christmas Day.

The Manchester United manager reportedly wants to train at Old Trafford on Christmas Day, which means around 70 members of staff will be required to work rather than spend time with their family.

Mourinho made the same decision last year but then did a u-turn and training at Carrington, which only requires around 20 people for a training session.

The Sun claim that ‘Old Trafford insiders do not believe he is for turning this time – and the news has caused resentment among staff’.

United face Burnley on Boxing Day at Old Trafford.
