Richarlison has explained his angry reaction to Watford’s decision to sack Marco Silva last month.
Watford and Silva parted ways on January 21 after the Portuguese proved incapable of halting the Hornets’ slide.
Javi Gracia was quickly appointed his replacement, and the club have drawn the only Premier League game he has been in charge for thus far.
Richarlison, who has tailed off after an excellent start at Vicarage Road, reacted angrily on social media to Silva’s sacking.
The Brazilian was one of Silva’s summer signings, and was none too pleased with the call.

“I was asleep in my house and Heurelho Gomes came over, woke me, to tell me the news. I was very sad and I reacted without thinking,” he explained.
“I owe Marco a lot because he is the one that called me before I came to Watford. I moved here because of him. He helped me every day and was extremely good with me.
“Marco is the person who is the least to blame (for the bad results) but was the one who paid the highest price. The ones on the pitch were the players, not him.”
