Brendan Rodgers has promised he has improved as a manager during his time away from football.
Rodgers was sacked by Liverpool in October of last year after over three years at the club, during which he failed to deliver any silverware.
The Northern Irishman has been linked with returns to the Premier League at Swansea and Newcastle recently, and revealed last month that he had turned down five job offers since leaving Anfield.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph over when he plans to return to football, Rodgers said: “I have taken time to reflect on my period at Liverpool, an incredible club, which I thoroughly enjoyed.
“Hopefully, when I go into my next job, I will be all the better for the rest and for the reflection.
“When I come back I’ll be a better manager. The experiences make you better.”
