Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore is set to tinker with his side for the tie.
Moore has chosen Jamie Annerson in goal for the previous two rounds of the competition and he looks set to maintain that policy, while Stephen Brogan or Jamie Green could be given a run at left-back.
The Millers picked up no fresh injury concerns in Saturday’s 0-0 FA Cup draw with York, although Mark Bradley is still battling a hip injury and is unlikely to feature, while Dale Tonge (foot) remains sidelined.
“It’s an opportunity to get into the semi-finals and anything can happen,” said Moore.
“Huddersfield have so much quality and class and they won’t be sending a weak side. The squad Lee Clark has got is fantastic so we are looking forward to a really hard and competitive game.”
Huddersfield pair Joe Garner and Lee Croft will both return to contention for the clash at Rotherham.
Garner, on loan from Nottingham Forest, and Derby winger Croft missed the goalless FA Cup tie at Cambridge on Saturday as they were not given permission to play by their parent clubs.
Terriers manager Lee Clark, who has promised to field his strongest side for the Northern Section quarter-final tie, has no new injury or suspension problems.
But striker Alan Lee will miss out against his former club as he sits out the last game of his three-match ban, while defenders Gary Naysmith (foot) and Tom Clarke (knee), winger Gary Roberts (broken arm) and striker Lee Novak (hamstring) all remain sidelined.
