The agent of Mohamed Salah has rubbished the latest reports concerning the winger’s protracted move to Liverpool.
The Reds have been trying to push through a move for the Roma player throughout this summer, with personal terms already thought to have been agreed.
The two clubs are yet to come to an agreement over the fee however, with the Italian side holding out for a figure in excess of £35million.
Liverpool have already had a £28m offer rejected, but are hoping that Roma will ‘compromise’ over their demands before the end of June.
It was reported on Sunday that the deal for Salah was close to completion, and a picture emerged of the 25-year-old with a fan, who congratulated him and added that he ‘deserves to be in Anfield’.

Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, moved to deny the claims on Sunday evening, suggesting the deal was not yet done.
It's amazing what one fan picture, along with a stab-in-the-dark caption, will lead many to believe… #fakenews
