Liverpool attacker Mo Salah has scooped the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for November.

Salah netted seven goals in just 283 minutes of league action in November – a goal every 40 minutes – with the Egyptian currently one clear of Harry Kane in the race for the Golden Boot.

The Reds star pipped Man City duo Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling, Burnley’s Robbie Brady, Chelsea star Eden Hazard, Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi and Man Utd’s Ashley Young to the award.

Salah told the club’s website: “Each month I want to score many goals and help the team to win games.

“That month, I scored seven goals and it’s a good feeling, but for me the most important thing is the result and we had good results that month.”

Pep Guardiola won his third consecutive Manager of the Month award, while Wayne Rooney was handed the Goal of the Month gong for his effort from inside his own half against West Ham.
