Samson leaves Kilmarnock

The 31-year-old made 38 appearances last season for the Rugby Park side and his form saw him included in Scotland’s squad for their Euro 2016 tie with the Republic of Ireland in June.
But Locke was a long-time admirer of Falkirk’s Jamie MacDonald and moved to sign him on a three-year deal during the summer break.
MacDonald has consequently begun the new campaign in the Ayrshire side’s first XI, with Samson on the bench for Saturday’s 4-0 home defeat to Dundee in the Scottish Premiership.
The former Scotland U21 international had one year left on his deal with Kilmarnock after returning to Ayrshire in 2013 for a second spell having started his career there.
