Sanchez clarifies Henry comments; wants him as Arsenal boss

Alexis Sanchez has moved to “clarify” that Thierry Henry never told him to leave Arsenal.

Sanchez created controversy earlier this week upon his move to Manchester United, when he claimed to have had conversations with Henry over leaving.

Some construed this as Henry having recommended for the Chilean to quit Arsenal.

Ian Wright accused Sanchez of throwing Henry “under a bus”, but the Frenchman himself denied those claims on Wednesday.

And Sanchez has now posted on Twitter to “clarify” the situation.

‘I want to clarify that Henry never told me to leave the club, it was a personal decision.

‘He LOVES the club and someday it would be nice to see him as the Arsenal coach because he loves the club…’
