Bastian Schweinsteiger has been named in Germany’s 27-man squad ahead of Euro 2016 despite making just four substitite appearances since January 2 for Manchester United.
Moragn Schneiderlin, Michael Carrick and Juan Mata have all been omitted from their country’s squads after poor seasons for United, but Schweinsteiger is included by Germany despite playing no football since March.
Other Premier League players included are Emre Can and Mesut Ozil.
