Sheff Wed v Bury preview

Sheffield Wednesday’s new manager Dave Jones may make one or two changes in his first game in charge.
Jones, who sat in the stands during the Owls’ goalless draw at Rochdale at the weekend, has no new injury or suspension worries, but defender Reda Johnson is still out with a hamstring strain and winger Jermaine Johnson is recovering from knee ligament damage.
Julian Bennett is expected to continue in Johnson’s absence at left-back, with skipper Rob Jones and Danny Batth resuming their central defensive partnership and Lewis Buxton at right-back.
Striker Ryan Lowe and Mike Jones are both pushing for recalls to the starting line-up, while fellow winger Michail Antonio is likely to make his third successive start since arriving on loan from Reading.
Wednesday currently trail second-placed Sheffield United by four points in the race for automatic promotion.
Bury will be without Giles Coke for the trip to face the midfielder’s parent club.
Coke missed Saturday’s magnificent 3-3 comeback draw with Huddersfield on Saturday due to a minor back injury.
He is fit to play once more but is ineligible to face Wednesday under the terms of his loan.
David Amoo and Lateef Elford-Alliyu impressed from the bench as Richie Barker’s men battled back from 3-0 down against the promotion-chasing Terriers and could be rewarded with starts in attack.
Veteran defender Efe Sodje is available once more having served a two-match suspension for picking up 10 bookings this season.
The Shakers are without a win in their last eight League One outings, during which time they have drawn on four occasions.
