Liverpool’s summer signing Dominic Solanke scored a stunner against Palace as the
Reds Oranges beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in Hong Kong.
Liverpool had dominated the opening exchanges, with Palace struggling to cope with the dangerous pace of Mo Salah.
Playing in a front three with Roberto Firmino and Daniel Sturridge, the Egyptian gave Scott Dann and Damien Delaney a torrid time.
The game was still 0-0 at half-time and within five minutes of the re-start, Liverpool were playing with a different side.
Philippe Coutinho and Origi linked up to set up Solanke, who turned on the edge of the box before firing a low shot past Wayne Hennessey.
Origi then added a second from close range after Coutinho’s shot was saved.
Well played, lads. ?
