Former Uruguay striker Daniel Fonseca has hit out at Luis Suarez, claiming the Barcelona forward has “psychological problems”.
Earlier this week Suarez alleged that Fonseca, who previously represented the 29-year-old, still owes him 20 per cent of the transfer fee from his move from Nacional to Dutch side Gronigen in 2006.
But Fonseca strongly refutes the allegations and labelled the former Liverpool man, who was lauded as the best player in the world by Matt Stead, a “coward”.
“He’s lying because he’s a kid who’s demonstrating that he has psychological problems. We know that,” Fonseca told Uruguay’s Radio 1010, as quoted by Goal.
“That’s why he is seeing a psychologist, but it’s not giving him the effect he desired. He should change his psychologist, or see a psychiatrist instead.
“To count you need two fingers, because the kid does not know how to count.”
