Swans skipper back for derby date

The defender returned from a calf injury against West Brom last month, but subsequently missed the next three matches after suffering a recurrence of the problem. However, he has been back in training for over a week now and is fully fit and available for selection.
Joe Allen will be pushing for a start after coming off the bench to make a successful return from a knee injury in last weekend’s goalless draw with Ipswich, while David Edgar will be hoping to retain his place in the starting XI following his debut in that clash.
Albert Serran is back in training following a hamstring injury, but Saturday’s clash is likely to come too soon for the defender.
Federico Bessone (knee) is hoping to start light training in the next few days, but Ferrie Bodde (calf) and Jordi Lopez (ankle) remain on the sidelines.
