Swansea v Hull preview

Swansea have no fresh injury concerns ahead of their home clash against Hull.
Manager Brendan Rodgers, who boasts a full-strength squad, faces the welcome decision of whether to utilise his ranks at such a critical stage of the season or stick with the same XI who saw off Norwich 3-0 at the weekend.
The likes of Darren Pratley, Leon Britton, Tamas Priskin, Craig Beattie and Luke Moore are all champing at the bit to play their part in what will be a defining final six matches in the club’s history.
Vice-captain Alan Tate was a surprise omission against the Canaries having been relegated to the bench and he will also be keen to regain his starting spot in defence against the Tigers.
The Swans, who lie just one point behind second-placed Norwich heading into another exciting round of fixtures, will be looking to avoid going down to their first unwanted double of the campaign having lost 2-0 to Hull on the opening day.
Hull midfielder James Harper is doubtful with a foot injury which forced him out of Saturday’s 2-1 win at Watford. He faces a late fitness test.
Goalkeeper Brad Guzan played his last game for the Tigers at Watford and has returned to parent club Aston Villa so Matt Duke, recently recalled from his loan spell at Derby, is expected to return to the starting line-up.
Nigel Pearson, whose side have won their last four away matches, has no other new injury or suspension problems as the Tigers, five points adrift of the top six in 10th place, look to make up further ground on the play-offs.
