Terriers draw dents Dons' hopes

Sam Baldock had given Roberto di Matteo’s side the lead on the hour mark in Tuesday night’s League One clash but Andy Butler hit back for Huddersfield to rescue a point with just 10 minutes remaining.
The Dons dominated in the first half but the closest they came to breaking the deadlock was through winger Jason Puncheon on the half-hour mark, his effort rattling the crossbar.
But the stadium:mk outfit took the lead 15 minutes into the second half as Luke Chadwick was played through one-on-one with goalkeeper Alex Smithies and unselfishly squared for Baldock to tap into an empty net.
The Terriers hit back when Butler’s header from an Anthony Pilkington corner was deflected past goalkeeper Willy Gueret.
Both sides had chances late on with MK Dons substitute Ali Gerba firing at Smithies before midfielder Michael Flynn’s effort hit both posts but stayed out.
