Tottenham star Harry Kane names his ideal teammate

Tottenham forward Harry Kane has been quizzed over who his ideal strike partner would be.

Kane has scored 26 goals in 27 games this season, after becoming Europe’s top goalscorer for the entirety of 2017.

He has scored 16 more goals than his nearest teammate, Heung-min Son (10), with Dele Alli (9) and Christian Eriksen (6) next in the Tottenham scoring stakes.

He has also partnered Wayne Rooney at international level, and spent time in the same Leyton Orient team as Dean Cox in 2011.

But somehow Cox was snubbed when Kane was asked by ESPN Brasil who his ideal teammate would be.

“Who’s not playing anymore… I think the Brazilian Ronaldo. I think his ability, his game was incredible,” he said of the icon.

“He had everything: he had pace, power, finishing, skills, passing. I didn’t watch a lot of him growing up on TV, but I kind of watch clips on Youtube and highlights from games in the past. I’d love to play alongside him.”
