Trio in frame for Terriers

Goalkeeper Smithies has been released by England Under-21s to play for the Terriers this weekend before possibly joining back up with Stuart Pearce’s squad early next week.
Defender Peltier is available again following his one-game ban and winger Pilkington will return to the squad after missing the last two matches due to a twisted ankle.
Liam Ridehalgh made his first senior appearance for the Terriers in last week’s home win over Charlton and is expected to continue at left-back as first choice Gary Naysmith is still nursing a toe injury.
Midfielder Scott Arfield and winger Graham Carey are on Under-21s international duty with Scotland and the Republic of Ireland respectively.
