Monaco star Bernardo Silva admits he holds a “dream” to play in England and Spain, further fuelling speculation over his future.
Manchester United and Chelsea are thought to be interested in landing the Portugal international with the player demonstrating his talent to help the Ligue 1 side to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Reports earlier in the year suggested the Blues had agreed a £70million deal with Monaco for the midfielder and their vice-president confirmed interest from a number of clubs in the player.
“Yes, yes. I really don’t want to go into details, but for all our major players, we have interest from major European clubs,” Monaco chief Vasim Vasilyev told The Times in February.
“This is not the right time to talk about it.
“Let’s finish the season and then we look at the project for next season.
“Me, the coach and the players are focused on this season.”
And now Silva has spoken of his interest in a future move to England but says he is content in France for now.
“For now, I’m feeling very well here in Monaco,” said Silva.
“It’s my third season in France, but of course all the players want to play in the best leagues. Spain and England are the best, and of course I dream one day to be there.”
