United given deadline to tie up Pogba deal – report

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has given Manchester United until the end of July to complete a deal for his client, according to reports.

Spanish publication Marca claim that the influential agent wants any possible transfer involving the Juventus star sorted before August.

Reports have surfaced in recent weeks that the Red Devils’ interest in Pogba is concrete and that they are readying a world record £100million bid for the 23-year-old.

The France midfielder failed to light up Euro 2016 and on Thursday former Arsenal player Emmanuel Petit went as far as saying that signing Pogba would be a “waste of money”.

If these latest reports from Marca are accurate, then that gives the Premier League side just over two weeks to finalise the biggest transfer of all-time.

However, former agent Vincent Rodriguez has claimed on social media that the deal could even be done by the end of this week.

“The Paul Pogba deal to #mufc could be done by Friday evening, the clubs are now finally talking.

“€145m [£121m] is the complete cost of the move.

“For clarity, the €145m for Paul Pogba is inclusive of add ons, agent fees and transfer fee.

“Manchester United will also pay in instalments.”
