George Boateng has named the four Arsenal players he believes could get into Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City team.
City outclassed Arsenal again on Thursday night just three days after beating Arsene Wenger’s beleaguered men by the same 3-0 scoreline at Wembley in the Carabao Cup.
Guardiola’s side are top, 30 points clear of Arsenal who sit in sixth place, but former Holland international Boateng believes Wenger has four attackers – the quartet that started on Thursday night at the Emirates – who could thrive at City.
The former Middlesbrough and Aston Villa midfielder told Sky Sports News: “Of Arsenal’s starting line-up, probably only four players could get into the Manchester City team.
“I would pick [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang. I would. Mesut Ozil is good enough when he is at his pomp. He’s a good player.
“You’ve got Henrikh Mkhitaryan who they just signed. I think he is a good player who would do very well in the top four.
“Then you probably have, if he is fit, you probably have [Danny] Welbeck. He is a very good player. But fitness has always been an issue.”
