Arsene Wenger says fit-again Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere will be available for their match against Sunderland on Sunday.
Wilshere scored his first goal in ten months on Monday as a Gunners Under-21 team lost to West Brom and now the England international looks set to return to first-team action sooner rather than later.
Gunners boss Wenger, who doesn’t have any fresh injury worries, doubts the 24-year-old will be fit for Thursday night’s match against the Baggies but expects him to be available for their next fixture at Sunderland.
“Everyone is available from our last game against Palace,” he said. “Wilshere has absorbed well his first obstacle.
“In every game he was sharper, he has a good fitness basis. He is available for selection from next game (Sunderland) onwards.”
