Arsene Wenger has insisted he is not disappointed with Arsenal’s summer transfer window.
The Gunners were one of only five Premier League clubs to turn a profit this summer, and courted criticism when they tried to sell Alexis Sanchez on deadline day.
They pulled the plug on that deal as they could not sign a replacement however, leaving them with just two new first-team additions.
Gunners chief executive Ivan Gazidis moved to alleviate fears with an e-mail sent to club staff on Friday, and Wenger has echoed his thoughts.
The Frenchman engaged in a revealing game of ‘yes or no’ during an interview with French outlet Telefoot over the weekend, the details of which are below:
Q: Could you ever coach another club?
Q: Have you had contact with PSG?
Q: Would you swap all your trophies for one Champions League?
Q: But not having won it really bothers you?
Q: Can you win league this year?
Q: Are you disappointed with your transfer window?
