Arsene Wenger has warned that closing the transfer window before the start of the Premier League season would still be problematic.
Reports claim that proposals have been made over shutting the transfer window before the season commences in the future.
Clubs will have played three games before the window closes on August 31 this campaign, and Premier League managers are thought to be frustrated with the current situation.
There will be a vote as to whether the deadline should be before any games are played, but Wenger does not believe that will solve every issue.
Wenger told beIN Sports: “I believe usually people adapt to the rule and if the rule is clear and makes sense, people will adapt to it.
“Let’s not forget that people who are not happy will sometimes go abroad, to different countries and that will not stop. The transfer abroad will still take place if the other countries continue to be open until the August 31 so it might still have some problems that we face today.”
