Arsene Wenger has suggested that a trio of Arsenal youngsters are likely to feature against Europa League.
Arsenal have made use of dropping down into Europe’s secondary competition by blooding a number of youngsters this season.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Joe Willock, Reiss Nelson, Marcus McGuane and Eddie Nketiah are among those aged 20 or under to have featured in Europe this season.
Arsenal are already assured of qualification to the knock-out stages, and face FC Koln in a dead rubber on Thursday.
Wenger expects to use the youngsters once again.
“We have an experienced team tomorrow,” Wenger said. “Overall I believe that you will see that every single player has big experience in the Premier League.
“We have brought some players as well who have played in former games and done extremely well like Joe Willock, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson and overall I believe we have a good mixture between experience and young players.”
