Wenger puts faith in young Gunners

With safe passage into the knockout stages already secure, Arsene Wenger will take no risks with his first-team regulars ahead of the crucial Premier League trip to Liverpool on Sunday, with captain Cesc Fabregas one of several stars left in London.
However, veteran Mikael Silvestre – a Champions League winner with Manchester United – and Cameroon midfielder Alex Song, who could again drop back into defence, were included in the 18-man squad who left Luton Airport on Tuesday afternoon.
Theo Walcott also made the trip after recovering from a hamstring problem while Aaron Ramsey, Jack Wilshere and Carlos Vela are among those with Champions League appearances.
