Arsene Wenger is widely reported to be planning another Champions League start for David Ospina in Arsenal’s must-win clash with Olympiakos.
The Daily Mail claims that Wenger made a promise to the Colombian in the summer that he would play key games despite the arrival of Petr Cech.
Ospina played in the Gunners’ Champions League opener against Dinamo Zagreb and then in the Capital One Cup clash with Tottenham.
“I need to give Ospina games,” admitted Wenger. “He is a top-level goalkeeper but that doesn’t mean that he will play tomorrow. The decision of who plays will go game by game.”
Wenger is also likely to take a risk on Francis Coquelin, despite the Frenchman only returning to training this week.
Likely line-up: Ospina; Bellerin, Gabriel, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Cazorla; Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ozil, Sanchez; Walcott.
