West Ham make Klopp ‘angry’ ahead of weekend clash

Jurgen Klopp has revealed that West Ham’s desire for three points against Liverpool this weekend is enough to make him “angry”.

The Reds are sitting in third place in the Premier League table just a point behind Arsenal in second and four points adrift of leaders Chelsea.

Liverpool lost last weekend to Bournemouth in injury time as they threw away a 3-1 lead to lose 4-3 on the South Coast and Klopp is determined his side won’t handover the points easily against West Ham on Sunday.

“West Ham want the points and that makes me angry just thinking about it,” Klopp said.

“We will be angry (on Sunday). But West Ham will be a tough challenger – interesting game.

“For me it’s very important we keep playing how we played (at Bournemouth), with better defending of course!”

Klopp thinks they are playing West Ham at a bad time now they have more players back from injury but says he would rather play their strongest side.

“I saw West Ham a lot of times, but I saw the last three games in more detail,” Klopp added. “They have injuries – but they all come back when they play against us!

“But we want to play against the best West Ham!”
