Wycombe denied by battling Millers

The duo were in the right place at the right time to keep out Matt Phillips and Matt Harrold after the break as Peter Taylor’s men, who have won just four of their last 13 matches, failed to fire in front of goal.
The Chairboys dominated the opening half with leading scorer Harrold forcing a fine save from veteran goalkeeper Andy Warrington on the half hour.
Referee Dean Whitestone then waved away a good Wycombe penalty shout after Nick Fenton appeared to trip Phillips in the box.
The best chances of the match came early in the second period when Phillips’ cross-shot was somehow cleared from under the bar by Tonge.
And from the resulting corner the hosts went close again when Harrold’s header was hacked off the line by Cummins.
