Granit Xhaka has reportedly arrived in London to finalise his move to Arsenal from Borussia Monchengladbach.
The deal remains subject to an agreement being finalised between the two clubs, however, with the Bundesliga side valuing their player at around £32million. Unconfirmed reports earlier this week suggested the Gunners had lodged an opening bid of just £19million.
However, with Monchengladbach admitting earlier this week that a deal was imminent – and the player himself revealing that he can see himself playing for Arsenal – it is thought a deal could be finalised in the coming days.
As reported by others, Xhaka is indeed set for a medical at #afc. Deal looks to be a long way down the line.

He said: “Whether there are talks or not, the clubs – Gladbach and Arsenal – know that, but as of now I am still a Gladbach player. It might change in the next weeks, or it might not change.”
Reports in Germany, however, state that the Switzerland midfielder has travelled to London on Friday for transfer talks with the club, with all parties hoping to finalise the deal ahead of Euro 2016.
Xhaka is being tipped to provide the midfield presence that Arsenal have lacked in recent years, and fill one of the midfield berths in their squad, with the likes of Mikel Arteta – who admitted earlier this week he was no longer good enough to play for the Gunners – leaving the Emirates.
