Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not had a contract offer from Manchester United, according to his agent Mino Raiola.
Last week the prolific Swedish international confirmed his Paris Saint-Germain exit with typical swagger, enjoying a fitting Parc des Princes as he scored twice in a 4-0 win over Nantes.
PSG president Nasser al-Khelaifi has revealed that the French champions plan to name a stand after the departing Ibrahimovic, while speculation continues about where the 34-year-old will end his career.
There were rumours the former Juventus, Inter and Barcelona striker could move to LA Galaxy in the MLS, though that move appears difficult given league regulations on salary cap.
Asked about reports in France that Manchester United have offered him a one-year contract, agent Raiola told Sky Sports News HQ that such reports are not accurate.
“In this world we have to accept some journalists use their imagination and make things up. The story is not factual.”
The Italian agent commented earlier in the month that Ibrahimovic was considering an offer to return to former club AC Milan.
“We’re already in talks with a club where he left his mark once already. Ibra has already shown that he is capable of making incredible gestures and even turning down millions to go to Milan could be one of them.
“Ibrahimovic could return to Italy, to Milan. As things stand, though, he has not yet made up his mind.”
