Zouma not expecting to follow Mourinho to Man Utd

Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma has ruled out the prospect of being reunited with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.

Mourinho has been linked with a number of his former Chelsea players since being appointed at Old Trafford, including Nemanja Matic and Willian.

Zouma previously described the Portuguese as “the best coach in the world”, but does not expect to be approached by the Red Devils.

“I do not think he will call me. I think there are other problems to solve but I’m fine at Chelsea,” he told French website MYTF1.

Zouma is currently recovering from a anterior cruciate ligament injury suffered against Manchester United in February.

The France international was ruled out of Euro 2016, and admits he has no clearer idea of a return date.

“I don’t know when I’ll be back out on the pitch but everything’s going well. I’m kicking the ball around a bit, I’m not in any pain and I feel good,” he told The Sun.
