Derbyshire is out of contract this summer and has been informed he will not be offered a new deal at the City Ground.

The news of Derbyshire's impending departure comes as something of a surprise following his fine end to the season for Forest after getting a regular run in the side under interim boss Gary Brazil

The former England Under-21 international netted 10 goals this season, including five gooals in as many matches at the end of the campaign.

Marcus Tudgay and Guy Moussi have already been told they will not be offered new deal and Ishmael Miller and Jonathan Greening are also set to leave when their current contracts expire.
