The 23-year-old, who joined Partick from Motherwell in 2012, becomes the sixth player in Alan Archibald's squad to have signed new or extended deals with the Maryhill club.

Lawless scored 14 goals in his first campaign with Thistle and followed it up with five goals last season.

Midfielders Gary Fraser and Stuart Bannigan, goalkeepers Paul Gallacher and Ryan Scully, and striker Kris Doolan have committed themselves further to the Thistle cause, with Lawless tied up until the end of season 2014-2015.
