Joe Jordan: In frame for Scotland job

Jordan and Kevin Bond, who assisted Redknapp at Portsmouth and Tottenham, have both now joined the management team at Loftus Road.

The 60-year-old Scot has also been linked as a replacement for Craig Levein and is thought to be keen on managing his country.

Redknapp believes the call from the Scottish Football Association may be too strong for Jordan to resist, but in the meantime he is happy to have his assistants with him again.

"I think Joe was probably interested. They haven't done anything yet," Redknapp said ahead of Saturday's match with Aston Villa.

"If they came calling it would be up to Joe, it's his life. If he said to me he wanted to manage Scotland I'm not going to argue with him, that's for sure.

"Joe's a good man, a top man. I'm pleased to have him and Kevin here. Kevin and Joe are all sorted."
