Hughton: Let's bounce back

Chris Hughton challenged his Norwich side to react positively to their first defeat in 11 league games - a 2-1 loss away to West Brom.

The Canaries looked on course for a fourth straight league win when Robert Snodgrass opened the scoring, but goals from Zoltan Gera and Romelu Lukaku earned Albion the points.

Hughton, whose side host Chelsea on Boxing Day, said: "We've been on a fabulous run and it's now how we react to losing. To be unbeaten for that number of games is a fair feat and testament to the group of lads.

"At some stage we were going to lose and it has to be about the next game."

The City manager felt his side were worth more than a defeat at The Hawthorns and took issue with the home side's first goal - bundled in by Gera from a contentiously-awarded corner.

He said: "I thought we had good spells in the game where we had real good possession, certainly for an away team.

"There weren't many clear-cut chances and it was even and we deserved to come away with something.

"The first goal was frustrating because they are a threat from set-plays and disappointing as it shouldn't have been a corner in the first place."
