The Spanish hit-man is the Premier League's joint top scorer with 13 goals so far this season, but he faces a spell on the sidelines after limping out of the Boxing Day draw with Reading.
Wayne Routledge is Swansea's second-highest scorer with four goals, while Moore has yet to open his account for the season.
The extent of the damage to Michu's ankle ligaments has yet to be fully determined, and Moore wants his fellow Swans to step up to the plate.
"I don't want to jump to conclusions because I don't know how bad Michu's injury is," said Moore.
"He's got out of the blocks so quick and, with 13 goals this season, he has been a great signing for us.
"All the boys are really pleased for him. But we're a great team and the great thing about Swansea is that we all pull together."
Moore's appearance at Reading was his first league start of the current campaign but he says he had not lost confidence despite slipping down the pecking order since Laudrup's arrival as manager last summer.
"I work hard in training and try and do my thing and keep believing," added Moore, 26.
"I work as hard as I can and then, if the manager thinks he wants to put me ahead of certain people, I am happy for that."
