The Canaries have won two of the last 12 games in all competitions, suffering embarrassing losses to Liverpool and non-League Luton before the momentum was turned slightly with successive draws against Tottenham and QPR.
Norwich, who play Fulham on Saturday, sit 14th, seven points clear of Wigan, who occupy the final relegation place.
"There has been no talk of relegation but you have to fight every single game," Hughton said.
"There isn't one game we go into that we don't think is going to be a tough game.
"Even though we are not picking up three points we are off the back of two decent draws, but I know you have to get wins in this division.
"The value of a gap to us and the bottom three is very important.
"We still have to go to Arsenal away and the two Manchester clubs and they are going to be tough. But we have to look at it that we can get points out of every game.
"We now have a fixture period to the end of the season with no cup games and we need to make sure our consistency levels are good enough to get the points we need."
