The striker has signed for the Canaries from MLS side Sporting Kansas City on loan until the end of the season.

He is now able to make his Premier League bow at home to Fulham on Saturday should manager Chris Hughton decide to call upon his services.

The 28-year-old scored 11 goals in 33 games last season and was seen as a bit of a cult hero by fans during his time in Kansas.

But, after seven seasons plying his trade in America, Kamara is ready to show City what he can do as the Norfolk outfit have an option to conclude a permanent deal for him at the end of the season.

"It is so surreal. I just can't wait to feed off the fans," he said. "There are so many players around the world who would like the chance to compete at the top, and the Premier League is definitely the top. It will be an honour to get the chance to play with some of the top players in the world.

"I had been with the MLS seven seasons, this was going to be my eighth and I loved every single one of them but every weekend you look forward to watching games from the Premier League and now I have a shot to be out there and show what I can do."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.
