Sorry Hump3. We're obviously not worthy "super-fan" status like you. I'm not even mocking you, I actually envy you. It must be easier to support this car crash of a team when you're that deluded. If you think being positive about a manager so clearly out of his depth makes you a better fan, or somehow more knowledgable, then good luck to you my friend. A dose of reality will only tell you we'll be in this exact same position next season, or worse, so just carry on knocking the doubters and believe in something that isn't there. It must be lovely.

Agree with Gab1965 about the crosses thing. I just don't understand why he insists on buying small players and getting rid of any strength out of the team. At least at Swansea he had Danny graham. Ok if u want a lot of pace in ur team fair enough, but have a plan B!!.. And on da sell and build a new team without Suarez. Levy and Redknapp built a spurs team that has gotten 2 top 4 four finishes( possibly 3 now under AVB) from a mid table club.without having half the budget liverpool have. How did they do it? Buying the better players from the smaller clubs, Parker, Bale, Kaboul,Dembeleeven modric, and taking the bargains from the bigger ones, VDV, Adebayor,Gallas,Holtby. There not afraid to add some variety and most of all not afraid to take a risk. We can buy all the young potential we want if they don't mix it with a couple of proven experienced squad players well go nowhere. At the moment were terrified of buying any player over the age of 26 and that's just a recipe for disaster. I Still have faith in Rodgers but our transfer policy is just pathetic

godzilla - spot on, which is why his lightweight team is unable to beat any half decently organised opponent, even teams that have been in terrible form, like OLDHAM and West Brom. If that is not a clue that your tactics and your style of play are not effective, nothing is. Even the games where they have been scoring lately, the goals were either gifted to them or shots from outside the area that might have not been scored on another day. But the manager is too stubborn to change his way of playing. How long do they have to go without beating a top half team? WBA should have ended that record but they couldn't even manage it against the team in 9th position. Sure, the manager did not like Carroll, and so decided he had to go without playing him, but get someone who can win a ball in the air once in a while. When Gerrard quits, the midfield will be flimsy and the defence looks flimsy already.

I can understand all the people that say 'give him more time' but, quite frankly, I don't think it takes very long to see whether a manager is going in the right way with a team. And I don't believe he is. But, mainly, I think he talks a load of nonsense a lot of the time and is totally inflexible. Some of his comments and decisions are so inconsistent as well. Patience with one player, none with another. Blasting the kids after Oldham, praising the players on Monday. And he has basically removed one valid way of scoring a goal, crosses into the box, from the team. Signings have been underwhelming on the whole. WBA, Swansea, Tottenham have not taken so long to adjust to a new manager, so why does every Liverpool manager always need more time than these clubs when they spend more than them in the transfer market?

Sorry mates I really don't see the improvement Brendon brought us. Since the start of season we are extremely weak at set piece defending and counter attacking defending. From my point of view these were the product of Brendon for wanting the whole team to move up the pitch passing the ball around and also preferring diminutive players. In fact there was an article on this website presenting information about the best games that Liverpool play are not the way Brendon preaches

@jelasfirsttouch: You just concentrate on that stream of players in and out of Man Utd, and the business of training your manager up to replace Fergie.....oh, and don't forget the righteousness of being the "People's club", and leave matters of competition and ambition to us fella.

If you don't like Bren, comment on the LFC website, and that goes for all 5 of you out there! The general feeling at Anfield is that of a little frustration but that we're progressing. Last week we were the 'best footballing team in the premiership' according to the press and the trolls, and last year Bren 'was the best new manager in the mmodern era' or somehting like that. benvo81 says...I hate you..... seriously lad, get a grip and look at the bigger picture, or go to OT and support the champions of manchester.

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
