Stoke boss Tony Pulis is refusing to rule out offering Michael Owen a new deal at the Britannia Stadium.

Not that surprising. Pulis loves having old pro's that are a good dressing room influence hanging around the club, plus Owen is still a big name. His contract is similar to what Woodgate's was too, £5-10k a week basic and £30-40k appearance fee, so what he's cost us so far is a drop in the ocean for the average PL club wage bill.

Just to confirm, you don't mean a deal with BBC Stoke? Or was his commentary on the Liverpool-Swansea game so dreadful that Tony Pulis is committing an act of mercy to keep him away from our screens?
