Szcz is a very good 'keeper and will get better. And how good is it that we never hear him moan even if dropped / rested? No threat of running down of contract, just a clear statement that he is very happy at Arsenal and does not even think (or "dream", which footballers apparently do a lot of) of another club. Quality. Supporters of all clubs dont hear this nearly enough from most of their mercenary and often unworthy of our support, players. I feel genuinely sorry for WBA supporters with the Odemwinje thing for instance. Joe Cole saying Liverpool did not motivate him - again a disgraceful way to behave to 'Pool supporters... Szez even leads the singing after away games sometimes. A simple act of bonding with people who have spent a lot of hard earned cash to be there. Szez, I hope you read this and know how much we appreciate you. Send a cooment if you're reading!

Wojciech Szczesny will be a world class keeper in a few years time when I expect him still to be playing for Arsenal.

I think we're in a unique position with 2 class keepers. A few clubs are now rotating their keepers and maybe its the way forward for us too. Both are certainly better than Reina, who we seem to be endlessly linked with.

Dropping a player so they don't get complacent about their starting position is not a bad thing, and Szczesny has been very professional in his comments - that speaks about his growing maturity as it is, and as h2h says he is still extremely young and learning his trade. The talk of selling him is just media waffle.

In goalkeeping terms Woj' is still a toddler, yes he has a lot of experience for one of such a tender age, but he's still got a lot to learn. If Wenger thinks it's time for him to be rested, so be it. If Fabianski can come in and do a job, all the better, there's absolutly nothing wrong with a bit of competition for your position, it can spur you on to push yourself harder to improve. I personaly believe he has the attitude and raw talent to come back and shine.
