Aluko, who is out of contract at the end of this season, has impressed for Hull since their return to the Premier League and scored their winner in last weekend's victory at Newcastle.

Hull boss Steve Bruce is keen to tie down the former Rangers man to a new long-term contract and Aluko has indicated he does not envisage any problems with pledging his future to the KC Stadium outfit.

"We have just started talking," Aluko told the Daily Mail. "The focus is on games and getting fit again.

"I am sure it will get done. No doubt it will drag on, as negotiations do, but I am relaxed about it.

"It's football so nothing would surprise you but I am sure it will get done.

"I am enjoying my football, I love the team and the stage we're on. It is more than a dream to play on this stage and I just want to be fit and enjoy the games."
