The loss at the Liberty Stadium meant that the Swans' winless run in the Premier League was extended to eight games and they remain just three points above the relegation zone.

Swansea had the better of the opening stages as Wilfried Bony rattled the crossbar in the first half, but an Emmanuel Adebayor double and a Chico Flores own goal condemned the hosts to defeat despite Bony pulling one back.

Laudrup's side have not tasted victory in the league since the start of December and although he admits there are problems, he was pleased by some aspects of the performance against Tottenham.

"I thought we were the better side for half-an-hour," he told Sky Sports.

"Again, we showed great attitude, we put them under pressure and had a couple of good chances. It was a fantastic strike from Bony and then the first time they have a shot on target, they scored.

"There was a lot of shape for five or 10 minutes but then again, that's something that happens when you're a team that's struggling a bit."

Laudrup's injury worries were increased as Jonjo Shelvey was forced off early in the second half and the Swansea boss bemoaned the fortune of his side in recent weeks.

"It's not our moment and things like that happen," he said. "I think we have to admit that we have some problems right now - for some time, we haven't won.

"But on the other hand, we to continue like this. I think the only thing we need is a win in the league and now we have to move on."

was there, it was embarrassing - the team looked totally unbalanced from the off, the defence was woeful and when Mikel came off injured it got even worse with nobody in front of them. Up front on several occasions we had opportunities and nobody would shoot - it was a complete farse! On the back of Salah's performance I'm glad there is talk of getting shot...

reat to see Tommy Rosicky getting some love. A wonderful player. Such a pity we lost so long to injury. I was so excited when we signed him, this resurgence only makes the absences seem more of a lost opportunity.
