N'Diaye has only made a handful of appearances for Sunderland since he arrived just over a year ago and manager Gus Poyet has allowed him to seek regular first-team football in Spain.

The 23-year-old Senegal international started the season with a loan spell at Turkish club Eskisehirspor and scored three goals in 16 appearances.

N'Diaye's last game for Sunderland came in the 1-0 defeat at Tottenham last May.
