Jones worked under the Spaniard at Swansea between 2007 and 2009 and continued to follow his lead at Wigan and Everton.

However, the 43-year-old is often rumoured to want to branch out on his own and Michael Laudrup's departure from Swansea caused speculation to rise that he would take over as his replacement.

But Martinez has denied these claims and again insisted that his No.2's primary focus remains on getting results at the club.

"It's nothing new. Graeme and I have been working together since 2007 and it's good when you get those links because it means people still remember the work that you did at a previous club," Martinez said.

"But Graeme is fully focused at Everton and it's not even a question.

"The only thing that matters is the results at Everton and there's not going to be any changes in that respect."

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
